Howdy!
Today is Warden Writing’s one year anniversary to the day. It’s a day of new beginnings: a new website, the countdown to a new project, and this newsletter.
Where have I been?
You might have noticed that I haven’t posted anything since Kirtzel, but I have a good excuse. When I first began the website, one of my goals was to more directly and quickly connect with readers, which I did through several short stories. These were fun to write and share, but I soon realized that they weren’t quite the right medium. I wanted something even leaner. Something I could get out quickly, regularly, and build upon over time. A place where I could practice, experiment, and—most importantly—have fun with storycrafting and worldbuilding.
Enter Lorellum Fantastica.
LF is a weekly fantasy worldbuilding project that follows a fictional historian, Elandra Karpe, writing about her fictional world. Incorporating stories of all shapes and sizes, visuals such as maps and sketches, and more, I’ve been chipping away at it over this year. Now, it’s finally ready!

Launching September 22, 2024!
Countdown to Lorellum Fantastica
The new beginnings of today are all in preparation of LF, and I’ll be counting down to the launch in this newsletter. If you’ve subscribed, you’ll get early access to the launch content over these coming weeks. For today, it’s the brand new art I’ve commissioned from the amazing and incredibly talented erindrawsstuff!
More to come…
Check the newsletter each Sunday for more early access content. I truly am excited to start exploring the world of Lorellum Fantastica with you.
Whether you’re a returning reader or visiting for the first time, welcome! While Lorellum Fantastica won’t launch for several weeks, there’s already tons of stuff on the new website—short stories, a sneak peak at Blood of Mezmatl, and a gallery of previous projects.
Thanks for stopping by, and happy reading!
