The Asylum of Syrima is the second novel I wrote, completed in 2013 and edited several times after that. The story follows Kaethe Syrim, the prince of a city home to the mysterious Asylum.
Supposedly full of strange magic and horrors, the Asylum is used by Kaethe and his family as a tool of justice: a place to imprison the city’s criminals. But before Kaethe can ascend to the throne, he is framed for murder by his power-hungry sister and thrown into the nightmarish halls of the Asylum, and must find a way to escape.
